The bank account summary shows the up-to-date position of your finances in the business represented by cash in the bank, credit cards, loans and petty cash.
The bank accounts are grouped into two sections:
Bank & Credit Card Accounts these will show normal bank, petty cash, credit card, paypal, savings and any other bank type of account you may have.
Loan & Director Loan Accounts any loans or director loan accounts you have with the company will be displayed separately underneath.
Adding a new account
To add a bank account, please click the button and enter the account details:

From the summary page, the main options button in line with the account name, you have a number of options.

Unexplained Transactions
If you have imported transactions, either from a csv import or direct from the bank feed facility, the 'Bank account summary', will show you how many transactions are yet to reconcile. To view the transactions that need to be allocated, please click the 'X to match'. This will take you to the 'Transactions' page where you can explain the pending transactions.
