If you incur an expense that you paid for personally, and you can recharge back to your client, this can be done through the My Money tab.
Choose the Expense option from the My Money tab and enter the details of the expense that you incurred, such as a train ticket, that you wish to recharge to your client. Once entered, click on the options button.
The slider will appear on the right hand side of the screen, allowing you to choose the customer you wish to recharge the expense to. Select from the drop down and click 'Update' and 'Update Expense' to save.
To recharge to the client, under the 'Work' tab, choose the 'Invoices' option and '+Create a new invoice'.
Enter the invoice details including the 'Contact' you wish to recharge, which will make the yellow '+Add Recharge Items' box appear.
Click the '+Add Recharge Items' button and the slider will appear on the right hand side of the screen. Tick the expense you wish to recharge and then click the 'Add Recharge Items'.
Once added, the invoice can be approved ready for sending to the client. Other lines can be added, such as for work done, prior to approving the invoice.
